Sergio Rossi creates rice paper boots
The fashion house Sergio Rossi has joined forces with Chinese artist Peng Wei and created a collection of boots made out of rice paper. The boots were designed to pay homage to one of China's time-honoured art forms.
Taking Sergio's signature Chelsea boot as a starting point, Wei has created eight unique designs - all hand-painted with traditional Chinese symbols and patterns.
The artworks will be on display in the Sergio Rossi Paris boutique until 21st October 2012 to coincide with the FIAC - Foire Internationale d'Art Contemporain - Paris' annual contemporary art festival.
Sergio Rossi shoe designs are favourite with celebs such as Eva Longoria, Jessica Biel and Eva Mendes.
