Jessie J: Fashion is about confidence

Pop star Jessie J believes you can pull off any look as long as you have the confidence to wear it with pride.

Jessie believes you can pull off any look as look as you have hold your head high and wear it with pride, something which she is only just coming to terms with.

Jessie said: "I'm definitely growing into fashion. It's about confidence... I feel you can pull off anything if you put your mind to it. If you wear something and you're like, 'I don't feel comfortable in this', then you won't look comfortable."

However, the 25-year-old star took years before to feel comfortable with her own body since she was insecure about her looks as a teenager and struggled with the image she wanted to project on stage.

Jessie confessed in an interview with Top of the Pops magazine: "I don't think I'm bursting with confidence. I'm a bit unusual-looking and it's taken me a long time to feel confident in my body.

"Perhaps I was a bit scared. I was a little insecure about my body, about being too grown-up. But I was a girl and now I'm a woman and I want to make sure I enjoy it."
