Fergie's new outlook on fashion

The 37-year-old singer Fergie – who is expecting her first child with her husband, an actor Josh Duhamel - has changed her outlook on fashion since her pregnancy and now likes to layer more loose-fitting clothing.

She said: "There's a little one in my stomach so I've incorporated a lot more layering. Everyone has their own personal pregnancy style but for me it's just a little more layering or movement. Before it wouldn't matter if things were clingy but now I just want to wear things with grace."

Comfortable capes are Fergie's must have items while pregnant and she has adapted her jeans with stretchy elastic.

She explained to Life&Style magazine: "There are ways to rock fashion, you just have to find the right pieces. I've been getting in a few different capes by Jean Paul Gaultier, Martin Margiela. And I'm just banding my jeans together with the tailor. Doing a little rubber bang trick and adding a layer - that kind of Spanx layer - on top of my pants."
