Fashion trends Autumn/Winter 2012-2013
Summer is well and truly over and it’s time we’ve reviewed our wardrobe for upcoming season. Fresh from catwalks, we’ve handpicked the key elements for you to get inspired by.
COLOURS for this season range from neutral hues of greys and beige, monochrome combinations and warm autumnal shades to cool greens, blues and turquoise. Reds and purples made their fashion mark too. Layer up different pieces of your favourite colours.
KNITWEAR goes chunky and patterns are geometric to make a statement this season. Jumpers, knitted dresses, turtlenecks or head-to-toe knitwear, inject some attitude to your woollen pieces.
FURRY coats and jackets have shown classic and eccentric side, with colour combinations to suit everyone’s taste.
RETRO PRINTS were not only inspired by the 70’s but the designers took us even further back in time, into the baroque era with heavily embellished materials, ornate brocade, and elaborate appliqué.
