CATCH A ‘HAIR’ WAVE

Our favourite celebs seem to be on the same wavelength this summer as everyone, including the hair chameleon Rihanna, is sporting the tousled waves.

Whatever the length, long or midi, grab your Seal Salt Texturising Hair Spray and use a diffuser nozzle on your hair dryer to bring out natural texture of your hair.

First Step – The Basics

Apply a volumising spray or a mousse on a clean, wet hair and blow-dry them, whilst running your fingers through them rather than using a paddle brush. Check your hair is completely dry.

Second Step – Twist and Wrap

Start at the front by grabbing one-inch sections of hair and spray it with a light hairspray. Holding the hair section at the bottom, twist the hair until it’s tightly twisted throughout the entire section.

To set the twist and add the bounce, grab your medium-size barrel curling tong and without opening the clamp, wrap the twisted strand around the tong barrel. Hold in place for 5 to 10 seconds and release.

Third Step – Cool It

Once the hair has cooled down, run your fingers through them for that dishevelled look. Depending on your hair type, finish off with a blast of sea salt hair spray and scrunch the hair from the bottom or for frizzy hair, run a small amount of smoothing cream through them.

Top Tip: Secret to the cool, tousled hair look is to start curling each twisted section of hair 2 inches away from the roots. The hair should be flatter at the root and wider at the bottom.
