Solange Knowles not interested in fashion

The singer/songwriter often appears on best-dressed lists and is a regular at high-profile fashion shows but insists she has never followed trends.

 

In an interview with Lurve Magazine, she said: "Look at my fashion choices back in the day. You know how people say 'Who let her walk out the house that way?' or 'She needs more people!' "

 

However, Solange admits she has been having a "lot of fun" in the fashion world, modelling for Beyonce and their mother Tina's clothing line House of Dereon, as well as in advertising campaigns for Giorgio Armani.

 

Most recently, Solange has been signed up to front American clothing label Madewell.
