Fancy a bold crop but not sure if it suits you? We’ve got a fail-safe guide for you, so you can choose the right pixie crop with ease!
Pixie Crop For Oval Face Shape
Anything goes! Lucky oval-faced ladies suit any pixie crop variation. Short fringe, long fringe or side-swept fringe, you can play it whichever way you fancy.
Pixie Crop For Heart-Shape Face
With the heart-shape face you’d need to add height at the crown with textured look to elongate the face, the sides are kept short and fringe is either short or side-swept and long-ish to help narrow the forehead.
Pixie Crop For Round Face Shape
Keep the sides and back shorter than the top to provide the balance of your facial features.
Pixie Crop For Long Face Shape
It’s the opposite of the round face, keep the sides and back longer than the top.
Things To Remember!
1. Your Hair Texture
Go for it if you have fine and straight hair, styling will be an easy ride with a bit of volumising products. Wavy hair will require more management time with a hairdryer and flat iron. Coarse and curly hair however may result in pixie haircut looking too triangular, stick to longer cuts.
2. The Maintenance
Your pixie haircut should get a regular trim every four to six weeks.
3. The Colour
For pixie crop, the best is to stick to one all-over colour. One colour will make your haircut really pop.
Top Tip: If you have a Square Face Shape, avoid the pixie haircut. The most flattering ones are longer lengths to soften the wider jaw.
