Marios Schwab designs a collection for Debenhams

The London-based designer Marios Schwab has created a ready-to-wear line of eight elegant dresses for London’s Debenhams store. The designs are a part of the store’s new Edition category in attempt to bring contemporary designers to a broader audience.

Marios said: "It has been a great experience to introduce elements of the DNA of my label to a wider range of women, taking inspirations from signature pieces of my collections and adapting them in to a product for a customer who is confident and knows exactly what she is looking for in her wardrobe.

"I wanted to introduce her and challenge her with a capsule range that incorporates my vision for the perfect dresses for all occasions."

Marios' collection is true to his signature feminine style and the versatile dresses can be worn both day and night. The figure-hugging dresses boast embellished details like sheer panelling, cut-out perforated leather and silver studs.

Marios plans to launch another three collections with the high street chain. Other designer brands such as Preen, Jonathan Saunders and Roksanda Ilincic have also created collections for Debenhams in the past.
