Prep The Lip

To ensure your lipstick will look nothing short of perfect, gently scrub and condition the lips, getting rid of all unwanted dead cells. We want an even surface. Blot the excess grease with a tissue.

Conceal and Create Base

Beauty market offers plenty of lip primers, ensuring immaculate base and bringing out the true colour of your lipstick but your concealer or foundation applied lightly and blended into the lips do the trick too.

Create The Shape

For fuller lips, grab a nude lip pencil – shade should be close to your skin tone - and follow the outline of your lips, emphasising your cupid bow. Gently pat in any harsher or obvious lines.

Choose Your Colour

For super-staying power, use a lip pencil the same colour as your preferred lipstick. Apply to lower and upper lip. Blot any excess product. Then apply lipstick with a brush. Trick is to build it gradually, layer by layer and blotting each time.

Seal The Deal

Carefully place a thin layer of a tissue over your lips and apply loose or pressed powder through the tissue, either by using powder brush or a sponge. You have now set your lipstick and are ready to party!

Top tip: Keep your lips in top condition with simply brushing them after you’ve brushed your teeth with a damp brush. It’s the best way to remember looking after them.
