Ombre hair may have passed its renaissance stage but the chocolate, caramel and honey hues are still a preferred combination for some celebrities. We’ve picked our favourites this week.
Sarah Jessica Parker’s Chic Dip Dye
The ever-stylish fashionista actress knows exactly what works for her and this dip-dye is a prime example. The three-coloured dip-dye has a little twist where the fringe strands are blonde from the roots.
Dip Dye Score: 5/5
Rumer Willis’ Wow Ombre
Not for the faint-hearted, this ombre speaks volumes. The stunning blend goes from the dark roots to a reddish shade of brown before it hits the blond cascade of curls. However, we think this would look better at a shorter length. The blonde colour is a little overwhelming at the ends and disproportionate to the other hues.
Dip Dye Score: 4/5
Laverne Cox’ Reverse Ombre
Play on a trend and go for a blond top with the dark caramel ends. Do not neglect your roots though. The grown-out roots are not complimenting the style but distract from it too much.
Dip Dye Score: 3/5
