How To Banish Split Ends

Keeping your hair in a top condition means salon visits every six weeks.  In the meantime, you can keep your hair in check with just pair of sharp nail scissors. Why? Small nail scissors ensure precision so you don’t chop off any healthy strands.

1. Make sure your hair is dry and clean.

2. Bring small sections of hair forward and start cutting.

3. Don’t take more than few millimetres off at a time.

How To Trim A Fringe Like A Pro

Fringe can be a tricky upkeep after its cut by a professional stylist.  But trimming it like a pro is easier than you think.

1. Ensure your hair is dry and in its natural state, don’t straighten it or pull as you cut, as it tends to spring back up.

2. Invest in a good pair of sharp, professional hairdressing scissors. Keep the hair as flat as possible to the forehead.

3. Start cutting up and into the bottom of the fringe with tiny snipping movements. Make sure the scissors are always vertical to the hair. Don’t be tempted to cut your blunt, heavy fringe across in a straight line.
