The supermodel Cara Delevingne – who wore a stunning floor-length black Burberry gown - attended the premiere of 'The Great Gatsby', which opened the 66th annual Cannes Film Festival in France.
The 20-year-old model and face of Burberry echoed the glamour of the film's Roaring Twenties theme in the silk and lace dress which she teamed up with dramatic makeup and Chopard jewels.
The model had some stiff competition in the style stakes, however, as other A-list stars including fellow model Georgia May Jagger, Cannes jury member Nicole Kidman and 'Gatsby' stars Carey Mulligan and Isla Fisher also dressed to impress.
Georgia looked elegant in a red Roberto Cavalli gown, complete with a train. Meanwhile, Isla also opted for red in a strapless Oscar de la Renta gown with a ruched skirt. Nicole, who will help decide the winner of the prestigious Palme d'Or prize at the festival, wore a gorgeous vintage Dior dress featuring brightly coloured floral embroidery.
White and cream were also predominant colours amongst the chic beauties on the red carpet outside the Theatre Lumiere. Carey chose a simplistic satin Dior gown, while songbird Lana Del Rey chose a sweeping black-and-white Veronica Lake gown, and veteran supermodel Cindy Crawford, 47, proved she is still as sexy as ever in a Grecian-style white Cavalli gown with a gold neckline.
