It’s not just about the right haircut. Make the blusher work for your face shape too!
Oval Face
The cheekbones on this most versatile face shape are dominant, with an equal distance from the eyes to the forehead that’s relative to the space from the yes to the chin. Smile and either apply blusher to the apples of the cheeks or create a soft contour underneath the prominent part of the cheekbone.
Round Face
The face is almost as wide as it’s long so for sculpting effect, suck in your cheeks and apply a shade darker to your skin in the hollows of your cheeks and blend well upwards.
Square Face
The square jaw is the prominent feature. To soften the angles of your face, run the blusher along the apples of your cheeks quite high up, rather than the hollows of the cheeks.
Heart-Shaped Face
Apple of the cheeks are quite prominent so best to apply cheek colour on the apples, blending softly upwards.
Top Tip
Never apply blusher too close to your nose, start directly beneath the iris of your eye and towards the temple hairline.
